Dr-FewGary Few, OD

Dr. Few is a graduate of the College of Charleston in 1986. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991 from The University of Alabama -Birmingham. At that time, he set up a private practice with Dr. Gene Harrison. The first practice was located in the eastern section of Jefferson County and was called Grayson Valley Family Eye Care. The practice relocated in January of 2021 to 156 Main Street in Trussville and changed the name to Eyes On Main.

Dr. Few and his wife, Jeannie, have two children, Alex and Natalie. They attend Church of the Highlands.

Professionally, Dr. Few has served as President of the UAB School of Optometry Alumni Association. He has also served on the Education Committee for the Alabama Optometric Association. In 2000, Dr. Few was honored with The Young Optometrist of the Year award by The Alabama Optometric Association.

Dr. Few and Dr. Harrison joined Vision Source in September of 2000. They are committed to Vision Source and their patients. They strive everyday to give the best possible service and quality to their patients, and Vision Source allows them to do just that.

Dr. Harrison is a graduate of the University of Alabama and attended the UAB School of optometry where he graduated with honors in 1991.

He began practicing with Dr. Gary Few after graduation in Grayson Valley and now has an additional location in Oneonta Alabama.The practice in Grayson Valley relocated in January of 2021 to 156 Main Street in Trussville and changed the name to Eyes On Main.

Dr. Harrison and his wife Martha have two children David and Ben, and reside in Trussville where they attend the First Baptist Church of Trussville.

Dr. Harrison received the “South’s Diploma in Glaucoma Management in 1999” and was named Alabama’s. “Young Optometrist of the Year” in that same year.

He specializes in pediatric and adult eye health evaluations along with expertise in contact lens, ocular disease and developmental eye disorders. He has been a member of Vision Source since September of 2000 and is committed to providing the best possible service to his patients.
